Web Portal: How to Purchase a Document

This article will explain how to purchase a document using the web portal.


Step One:

  • Search the tract index by document:
  1. Click on the document tab.
  2. Enter your search criteria and.
  3. Click on Search for document.

Below, figure 1 will demonstrate this step.

Step Two:

  • Select the document that you wish to purchase
    1. A list of results that match your predetermined criteria will appear at the lower portion of the screen.
    2. Click any of the blue text that belongs to the document you wish to purchase.

Step Three:

  • Add the document that you wish to purchase to your cart
    1. Click “Add to Cart” Button at the top of the screen.

Step Four:

  • Complete Your Purchase
    1. (Optional) Return to search page by scrolling up and repeat steps 1 through 3 until all wanted documents are added to your cart.
    2. Click view cart to complete purchase.

Step Five:

  • Verify All Documents are in cart and check out
    1. Look over the Document cart and make sure all wanted documents are listed in cart.
    2. Click “Remove Item” to remove a specific item from cart.
    3. Click “Clear Cart” to remove all items from cart.
    4. Click “Check out” to proceed with purchasing the documents in the cart.

Step Six:

  • Confirm Documents
    1. Click “Confirm” Button to proceed with payment.
    2. Click “Cancel” to cancel purchase.

Step Seven:

  • Confirm Documents
    1. Click “Make Payment” button to proceed with payment.
    2. Click “Cancel” button to cancel purchase.

Step Eight:

  • Enter Payment Information
    1. Enter payment information.
    2. Click “Cancel” button to cancel purchase.
    3. Click “Continue” button to continue with payment.

Step Nine:

  • Confirmation Page
    1. A confirmation page will come up giving you a confirmation number.  Keep the confirmation number.  Please save or print a copy of your receipt for record keeping purposes.

Step Ten:

  • View Purchased Documents Immediately 
    1. To view and print your document, click on View Document.  The image will preview on your screen.
    2. You may also enter your Confirmation Number then click on Search for Purchased Documents.  You would then click on View Document. This brings up the document and you can print the image.

Step Eleven:

  • View Purchased Documents Later
    1. If you need to view the document later (up to 5 days) you can do a document search, then click View Purchased Documents on the left side of the screen and enter your confirmation number.
    2. You would then click on View Document and the image will pop up.  You may then print or save the document.
